Dr. Tobias Mayring
Born and raised in Germany, Dr. Mayring graduated in 2010 from Charles University in Prague. Upon graduation, he spent several years refining his skills in his hometown of Munich and the scenic Black Forest region of Germany. Driven by a deep interest in medicine and a genuine passion for helping people, Dr. Mayring was naturally drawn to dentistry. His clinical philosophy centers on providing excellent, precise dental treatment while always prioritizing the human aspect of patient care.
In 2013, Dr. Mayring completed his Canadian Board exams to become a fully licensed dentist in Canada. Following his heart, he moved to Canada in 2014 to be with his wife and has proudly called the Kitchener-Waterloo area home ever since.
Dedicated to clinical excellence, Dr. Mayring consistently pursues advanced continuing education to stay at the forefront of dental technologies and modern treatments. He remains deeply connected with local and national dental communities as an active member of the Canadian Dental Association, the Ontario Dental Association, and the Waterloo-Wellington Dental Society.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Mayring’s life is beautifully busy as he and his wife raise their three wonderful children. He cherishes every moment spent with family and friends, whether testing out new recipes in the kitchen, enjoying outdoor activities, or spending weekends cheering on his kids at the soccer pitch.

Dr. Adel Abtahi
Along with the rest of the team at St. Andrew’s Dental, Dr. Abtahi is dedicated to providing the highest quality of professional dental services and compassionate patient care.
Dr. Abtahi began his dental journey by earning his initial dental degree in 2006, followed by two years of valuable clinical experience practicing in a hospital dental department. He then attended the University of Toronto, Faculty of Dentistry, where he obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree, graduating with honors in 2012.
He is registered with The Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario and maintains active professional ties across the dental community, holding affiliations with the Canadian Dental Association, the American Dental Association, the Ontario Dental Association, and the Waterloo-Wellington Dental Society.
Dedicated to lifelong learning, Dr. Abtahi continuously pursues advanced education to expand his knowledge and refine his clinical skills. He takes great pride in helping his patients achieve optimal oral health, combining his expertise with a warm, calm atmosphere that puts patients at ease.

Dr. Daniel De Pratto
Dr. Daniel De Pratto is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario, Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry, and achieved an Honours Degree in Biology from the University of Waterloo. He is a valued member at team St. Andrews.
Dr. De Pratto was drawn to a career in Dentistry due to his interest in the link between oral health as a gateway to overall health, and the evolving science and technology that dentistry has to offer. He brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to St. Andrews Dental and takes a keen interest in areas of Aesthetic Dentistry and rehabilitation of the worn dentition.
Outside of his professional work, Dr. De Pratto maintains an active commitment to fitness and the outdoors. He is an avid jogger and dedicates time to weight training. He also spends time hiking, using the trails as an opportunity to disconnect and engage with nature. In the summer months you’ll find him outside in his garden, looking after his flowers and vegetables.
Dr. Tracy Fadden
Dr. Fadden‘s goal is to provide each patient with comfortable comprehensive care, incorporating health and function with a beautiful smile.
She achieved her degree at the University of Toronto in 1991 graduating with honours. She is currently a member of the Canadian and Ontario Dental Societies, and was a former Key opinion Leader for The American Academy of Clear Aligners.
Dr. Fadden is a highly respected dentist whose career has spanned more than three decades of dedicated service to her patients and community. Known for her extensive experience in esthetic dentistry and Invisalign treatment, she has helped countless individuals achieve confident, healthy smiles through personalized and innovative care.

Throughout her career, Dr. Fadden remained deeply committed not only to clinical excellence but also to community involvement, building lasting relationships and trust with generations of families.
Although now retired from accepting new patients, Dr. Fadden continues to play an active role in the clinic, offering her expertise, and support to both patients and colleagues. Her legacy is reflected in the high standard of care she established and the many lives she positively impacted over the years.
Dr. Vanesa Tomic
Dr. Vanesa Tomic earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Toronto in 2022. What drew her to dentistry was the chance to make a real difference in people’s daily lives — good oral health affects how patients eat, speak, and feel about themselves.
Her practice covers the full range of general dentistry, from routine preventive care and extractions to Invisalign clear aligner therapy, soft tissue grafting, and cosmetic treatment. She’s especially glad to work with patients who feel anxious about the dentist, and takes the time to explain every option clearly so people can make decisions they feel good about.
Outside the operatory, Dr. Tomic is committed to continuing education and staying current with advances in the field. When she’s not in the clinic, she’s most often spending time with friends and family or at the gym.
Dr. Asifa Naureen
Dr. Asifa is a dedicated general dentist committed to providing high-quality dental care in a compassionate and comfortable environment. Her passion for dentistry began at a young age after witnessing her mother struggle with dental issues. This experience continues to inspire her, and she finds it deeply rewarding to help patients regain their smiles, confidence, and freedom from pain.
Dr. Asifa has extensive experience in all aspects of general dentistry, with a particular interest in children dentistry and complicated/ wisdom teeth extraction .She is passionate about creating a positive and comfortable experience for every patient, ensuring they leave with a healthy smile. she is known for her gentle approach, excellent listening skills, and friendly demeanor, she builds strong connections with her patients.
She earned her Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Health Sciences, Pakistan, in 2010, where she was awarded a Gold Medal for outstanding academic and clinical achievements by the Prime Minister of Pakistan. She gained valuable experience working in a busy hospital and volunteered with Colgate Inc., providing dental care to underprivileged communities in rural Pakistan.
Dr. Asifa later obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree with Distinction from Western University, Canada, in 2018. She was consistently on the Dean’s List and received several prestigious awards, including the Dr. Gerald Z. Wright Award for highest academic standing and the Dr. Kenneth F. Pownall Memorial Award & Scholarship from the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario.
Committed to lifelong learning, Dr. Asifa actively pursues continuing education to stay current with the latest advancements in dentistry, ensuring her patients receive the most up-to-date care.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Asifa is a busy mother of three who enjoys spending quality time with her children, experimenting with new recipes, and cycling. While she once enjoyed reality TV, her home is now filled with children’s shows.
Dr. Zubaida
Dr. Zubaida earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry in 2018. As a dedicated General Dentist practicing in Canada, she is committed to providing high-quality, personalized care for patients of all ages.
Her areas of practice include dental restorations, extractions, root canal treatments, crowns and bridges, dental implants, and children’s dentistry. She takes a gentle and patient-centered approach, focusing on comfort, quality, and long-term oral health.
Passionate about lifelong learning, Dr. Zubaida regularly participates in continuing education to stay up to date with the latest dental techniques and advancements.
Known for her compassionate and empathetic nature, she strives to build trusting relationships with her patients and create a warm, comfortable environment where everyone feels at ease.
